Coffee better than Green Tea?
I prefer coffee over green tea and was pleased to read that recent studies indicate coffee may do far more than just provide an energy boost.
Coffee contains about 1,000 different antioxidants and has four times the antioxidant content when compared to green tea.
In addition, drinking coffee has been linked with a decrease in the incidence of type 2 diabetes. A comprehensive study involving thousands of nurses, published in the January 2004 issue of the Annals of Internal Medicine found that those who drank more coffee had a lower risk of diabetes than those who drank less or none of it. For men and women, the effects of coffee drinking on diabetes risk didn't become pronounced until people drank at least four cups a day.
